Galaxy Buds
Galaxy Buds is a very promising novelty from Samsung – fully wireless Bluetooth headphones with good sound, long battery life, convenient controls, and many nice features. Not even very expensive.
Galaxy Buds sound very nice on the first reviews. AKG technologies are responsible for this, which already sets a certain level. The sound quality is decent, the volume is high.
The basses are there, although they are not very ?pumping?, the middle is readable, the top without peaks. When compared with the much more expensive AirPods, they even win. However, we must not forget that there is a different form factor.
Galaxy Buds will be protected from moisture at a minimum – IPX2. But it gives hope that they will survive an active run, they will not spoil from sweat. Of course, for example, the Jabra Elite 65t protection is significantly better, but the price is higher.
Samsung Galaxy Buds support wireless charging. They can even be charged from the new flagship Galaxy S10, putting it on the back cover of the smartphone, or from suitable wireless chargers.
Galaxy Buds keep some fitness features from the previous Gear. Headphones (they are equipped with an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and Hall) can transfer data on the state of the body (distance, speed, calories burned and pulse) to the S Health application. Considering a secure fit in the ear, Galaxy Buds may well be considered fitness headphones.
Galaxy Buds are very compact and comfortable in ears. They almost do not stand out from the ear, which pleasantly distinguishes them from almost all other representatives of the True Wireless market. Each earphone weighs a little more than 5 grams, and you can forget about them in an hour or two.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Features:
Case weight: 39.6 g
The weight of one earphone: 5.6 g
Headphone battery capacity: 58 mAh (up to 6 hours of music playback and 5 hours of talk
Battery capacity of the case: 252 mAh (additional 7 hours of playback)
15 minutes of charging from the case give you 100 minutes of music playback
IPX2 waterproof
