Overview and packages:Namecheap
Namecheap was established in 2001 and is not only an ICANN-accredited registrar but is also slowly gaining momentum and becoming a leader in web hosting. The company is an independent property (not part of the EIG Group, i.e.HostGator/BlueHost)
Namecheap is renowned for offering low-cost domain registration and free domain privacy protection (WHOIS Guard).
Namecheap has a wide range of services, including shared Linux hosting, WordPress hosting, reseller, VPS, cloud, and dedicated servers. You can easily upgrade from one plan to another, and be able to scale when you need more resources. Currently, Windows hosting is not available with any of their packages.
The company also works from several 2 data centers: U.S. and United Kingdom.
All of their packages come with free SSL as well as free domain name and cPanel hosting control panel. The company also provides two free weekly backups, 100% availability guarantee, 100+ free scripts.
Some of the other more notable features include unlimited SSD storage, free build site, unlimited MySQL databases.
The company also offers a free migration website with another cPanel based web hosting provider.
Their support team seems very agile, they have support via LiveChat for pre-implementation/first level support issues that really works best. They also offer support through their ticket based on the help desk. Currently, phone support is not available.
Their overall pricing is truly competitive, with current events including 50% with a 1-year commitment, which means for the lowest package you pay $15.44 per 1 year! You can also pay monthly, with a starting price of $2.88 per month. Their price update is also very reasonable.
It is noted that there is $1.00 per month extra if you choose to host your site in your BRITANS data center.

Why choose Namecheap?
Namecheap has a very wide range of web hosting services that must meet the requirements for most customers except if you are looking for Windows-based web hosting packages.
Their pricing is really aggressive, they offer a domain name with free Whois protection difficult to win.
They offer good customer service, and many support options, and reasonable upgrade prices for most of their plans.
With good customer reviews, we recommend Namecheap hosting for our viewers. Still, there are better choices with higher user rating than Namecheap hosting in 2019 but Namecheap is not so bad, either. You can experiment with yourself trying Namecheap. We do not think you will face the problem of downtime and customer service after using Namecheap hosting to run your site.
